Icon Battles
An icon Battle is when 2 or more people make a set of icons using either the same images or techniques.
Usually, you set a theme, a timeline & Then post the results of the battle! Please note, i can't guarantee anyone will join you battle, icon making on DW is pretty relaxed and smaller fandoms may not get much interest. You can host a general battle though, with a mix of fandoms!

How to play
Types of Battles
This is just a guideline but there are a number of ways to play;
X Everyone submits a screencap, icons submitted are the number of screencaps (or a designated limit)
X Everyone submits multiple screencaps, icons submitted are the number of screencaps (or a designated limit)
X You choose a season of a TV show, and make 1 icon for each episode
X Everyone submits a theme, icons submitted are the number of themes (or a designated limit)
X etc...

Posting a Battle
If you want to start a battle, post the following template to see if you can find a partner or more people to play with you. Depending on the type of battle, you may want to remove or add fields. You might want to include a graphic if you would like to promote it

Joining a Battle
Anyone is welcome to join any battle, granted you are willing to follow the rules of the battle. Just comment to the post to be signed up!

Just a question, where do we post our icons for the battles?

For each specific battle, the icons would be submitted to the post for the host to then post into the comm directly. (Generally lol)

If you do a battle elsewhere, and want to post here, i'm cool with that too!
