Theme: Making icons using textures by kakapum (me)
Total number of icons: 1-10. Do as many as you want :)
Suggested amount of time to finish the battle: until July 1st.

I'm doing this battle for two reasons;
1. I really want to see what icons you can make when you use textures made by me *blush*
2. I'd love some feedback on which of the textures are difficult to use etc. so I can up my game in texture making ;)
(Feedback on my textures are optional; if you like you can tell me in the entry I've made below.)

You can only use textures by kakapum (me) when making your icons. You're free to use whatever pictures/brushes/text/lightnening/techniques/other resources etc. you want :)

You don't have to, but I would be extremely grateful if you (when you've finished with your icons) also tell me which of the textures were difficult to work with, since this is kinda why I'm doing this battle ;)

Feedback:
1)The easiest to use were definitely:
These were also really fun to use,especially the 1st and 3rd ones!XD
This texture looked difficult but when I placed it behind the character in my 4th icon-MAGIC!It was perfect!
2)The textures I liked were:
3)I like this texture a lot but for some reason couldn't make it work probably because all the pictures I tried iconing were not proper for it. I knew I wanted to use this for Guardian and it was being difficult to place but once I made it small,it fit my icon perfectly against the negative space.
This texture too-it was challenging because of the black border but damn,I love how my icon turned out!
4)I don't dislike any!

And thank you for the feedback~ I imagined that the textures you used for icons 3, 4, 5, 9 were on the more difficult side,
especially this , so I LOVE what you did there! :)

Oooooh *wow* yes the ninth one with the black border turned out amazing! I have to remember to use "simple" b/w border textures this way, it looks so cool!

I also really like what you did with the text in 6, and I really like 1 and 5 and 8, as well. (The bold texture use in 5 especially.)

sorry i never got to this, it's been a busy month!! i tend to stick to the dark/black icons for screening texture, and i like the background textuers, that blue/yellow/bird one is my favourite!

Aww it's all right <3 I understand; June is always such a busy month! Thanks for letting me know :) The bird texture is actually one of my favorites as well! <3 Real wallpapers are perfect for icon making, lol! :D

same here, actually. I wanted to do it but ugh. I barely made any icons in June at all. But I love trying new textures, so I'm thinking this would have been a lot of fun.
