I blatantly stole the idea from shiruji, except that these textures were not made by me, but randomly selected from my texture collection.

I really like the depth in the Jameela Jamil icon, the saturation of her skin against that blue background... wow.

I love how the texture fits around the Doctor icon, too. It barely looks blocky/like levels at all, because the texture is so blurry. Really cool.

The Sleepy Hollow one looks... medieval is the first word that comes to mind. Dark and magical and glowy, like they're doing alchemy. :D

The soft look on the Molang icon is great. It's hard to make animated source look soft like that. And the way the texture picks up the little flower: perfect!

The floral texture had me stumped but it was cute so I wanted to try it, but then the Molang one was the easiest since I have this big transparent png.
The full pic is so cute, but I had to crop it, I'll post it here, so you don't miss the full effect. 😄
